He served only a few months: enemy shelling ended the life of a Ukrainian defender

In Kirnasovka, Vinnitsa region, the deceased defender Nikolai Lysenko was taken on his last journey. He served as a driver in the 2nd reconnaissance squad of the 1st reconnaissance platoon of the reconnaissance company of military unit A 7015. He died during a combat mission in the Donetsk region. “Nikolai is an ordinary village man. After school, he studied at the Nemirovsky Construction School, worked as a builder, then was called up for military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, - reports the Tulchinsk territorial society. - In 2008, Nikolai got married, together with his wife Elena, they raised a son and a daughter. On 3 2019, a man started working as a driver, but plans for a peaceful and carefree future were destroyed by a full-scale war.”

On September 13 last year, Nikolai Lysenko was mobilized. And already on January 27, 2023, near the village of Chasov Yar, Donetsk region, as a result of shelling, he received injuries incompatible with life.

“He went to defend the territorial integrity of our country, like a real man, and returned as a Hero, but, unfortunately, he returned home on a shield … By the roads of his native Kirnasovka, the defender was carried through a living corridor. Here he grew up, matured, here everyone is close to him, here yesterday he was met on his knees, and today he was escorted on his last journey. The fighter was buried in the cemetery with all the proper military honors.“.

He is survived by his mother, wife, son Sergey and daughter Polina.

Recall that a veteran of the ATO, who returned from the Czech Republic for the sake of protecting the country, died in the battle.
