Kevin Hart rocks in the newly released trailer for his upcoming action comedy Die Hartand we mean literally. A first look reveals Hart’s latest role as an overly fictionalized version of himself in an effort to change his comedic type and make a major (and dangerous) jump into action movies. Quickly realizing that he may have bitten off more than he can chew, the star is in for a rude awakening as he heads off to study at the country’s top training center.

The trailer opens with Hart receiving a lifelong call to offer a career change opportunity as he is personally scouted by the world’s top action director (Jean Reno) to appear in his latest exciting film. Since the action movie transcends its typical genre, Hart is required to attend an “action hero school” run by the toughest man in the business, Ron Wilcox.John Travolta).

After putting his latest student through the torment, Wilcox wastes no time in pushing Hart to new extremes, turning him into the perfect hero. To help him achieve his “lifetime dream”, Hart will also be working with another experienced coach (Nathalie Emmanuel) that will show him everything and deliver some hard blows. The trailer also gives us a brief and uninformative look at Josh Hartnettcharacter, without revealing anything about what role he will play in Hart’s rise to the top.
