Ukrainians who suffered as a result of the undermining of the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station by the invaders are entitled to payments from the state of 5 thousand hryvnias.
The Cabinet of Ministers adopted an additional decision, according to which payments to victims of flooding will be made regardless of whether the person receives payments as an IDP.
After all, before the right to receive such assistance were not persons who, as of June 5, 2023, were registered as recipients of the IDP residence allowance.
“From now on, financial assistance from the state will be received by all citizens who at the time of the Kakhovka disaster lived (were registered / declared) in the settlements of the Nikolaev and Kherson regions that were subjected to flooding,” - the message says.
Recall that along with state assistance, the victims are also entitled to payments in the amount of 6,600 hryvnias from the UN International Organization for Migration.
