On Wednesday, May 24, the 28th round of the Ukrainian Premier League started with matches in Kovalevka and Uzhgorod.
Championship of Ukraine. 28th round
“Kolos” (Kovalivka) - “Dynamo” (Kyiv) - 0:3 (Volynets, 9, own goal, Andrievsky, 68, Voloshin, 90+3). Junior compositions - 1:4.
“Dynamo”: Bushchan, Timchik (Pain, 75), Sirota, Dyachuk, Ovcharenko, Andrievsky (Shaparenko, 69), Shepelev (Sidorchuk, 59), Perris, Kabaev (Voloshin, 59), Buyalsky, Ramirez (Garmash, 75).
Kolos suffered its biggest home defeat in the championships of Ukraine (0:7) against Dynamo. It didn’t start very rosy for the blacksmiths in the final duel either. Already in the 9th minute, Jamaican Perris, thanks to pressure in the goalkeeper’s area, made the goalkeeper Volynets make a mistake, who sent the ball into his own net.
The conceded ball did not greatly affect the mood of the blacksmiths, who were close to not only leveling the score, but also taking the lead. But each time, quite a bit was missing - either the accuracy of the Kolos players let down, or Bushchan acted reliably, returning to the “frame” after a long pause associated with an injury (also in the second half, Shaparenko, who had not played since the beginning of September, came on as a substitute last year).
Nevertheless, the question of the winner was removed by Andrievsky, who scored his 10th goal in the Premier League with an accurate shot from outside the penalty area. And just before the final whistle, Voloshin put a spectacular end to the match, closing a convenient cross from Shaparenko from the left flank.
“Dnepr-1” - “Vorskla” (Poltava) - 1:2 (Blanco, 3 - Sklyar, 11, from the penalty spot, Canet, 45+4). Junior compositions - 1:2.
Dnipro quickly opened the scoring in the match, extending their goal streak in the UPL to 12 games. But the wards of Viktor Skrypnyk not only did not give up, but soon leveled the situation by converting a penalty, and just before the break they took the lead. In the second half, Oleksandr Kucher’s team completely controlled the course of the game, allowing almost nothing to create an opponent, but the Poltava team competently built a game on the defensive and in the end won a sensational victory, which could actually “kill” the intrigue for the championship. Dovbik also failed to score, who has one goal left for his own “anniversary” - the 50th goal in the Premier League.
