Therefore, we will not see our team leader in action during the World Cup competition in Lake Placid. Thomas Turnbichler decided that the 36-year-old football player will spend this time in a completely different way than usual.

The mood of the athlete from Zab has been diving since the weekend when the divers competed in Sapporo. Then, in the last of the competitions, Stoch fell out of the top ten for the first time since mid-December. Then he took 23rd place. He performed only slightly better in flights - in Bad Mitterndorf he took first 17th and then 19th place.
In Willingen it was even worse. There, Stoch finished 25th in the Saturday event and did not even qualify for the Sunday event. This situation gave Thomas Turnbichler a red light. The Austrian said that it makes no sense to bring the Pole in this form to Lake Placid and it is necessary to respond as quickly as possible in order to bring him into shape for the World Championships in Planica.
Therefore, the breeder decided that the 36-year-old athlete would stay in Zakopane and first take a break from the competitive and training regime, and return to work only when he cleared his head. As it turned out, Stoch quickly got hungry for new starts and further training.
