Property of the person arrested in absentia Ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych, collected in favor of the state in accordance with the Law “On Sanctions”, was transferred to the management of the State Property Fund and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy. The relevant decision was taken by the Government at a meeting on March 3. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
“Viktor Yanukovych’s assets, including those registered to his son Alexander Yanukovych, are being transferred to state administration. By decision of the Government, property of cultural and historical value was transferred to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy - icons, paintings, books, including extremely valuable ones, sculptures, antiques, etc. This is more than half a thousand values that will become the property of the Ukrainian people. Other property, including currently located in the temporarily occupied territories, was transferred to the management of the State Property Fund for subsequent privatization or lease. At the same time, part of the assets located on the territory of the residence “Mezhyhirya” was transferred to the State Property Fund until they are included in the park-monument of landscape gardening art of national importance.- explained the First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko.
Thus, until the inclusion in the park-monument of landscape art of national importance, in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On the Natural Reserve Fund of Ukraine”, the following were transferred to the management of the State Property Fund:
• Recreation and health center, two houses in the village of Novye Petrivtsi, Kyiv region;
• hotel and restaurant complex in the Vyshgorod district of the Kyiv region;
• 100% share in the authorized capital of the Limited Liability Company Tantalit;
• 100% stake in the authorized capital of Dom Lesnik LLC.
Among other property transferred to the management of the State Property Fund, there are vehicles, land plots, residential and non-residential buildings in different regions of Ukraine.
Also, by the decision of the Government, the Ministry of Justice was instructed to apply to the High Anti-Corruption Court for a writ of execution and take measures to ensure the transfer of more than UAH 31 million to the state budget. and 84 thousand US dollars from the accounts of Viktor Yanukovych.
“SPFU is ready to take responsibility for the effective management of this property and ensure that it works for the benefit of our state and all citizens”- said the head of the State Property Fund Rustem Umerov.
So, the State Property Fund received an apartment and two parking spaces in Kiev, three buildings, a residential building, two land plots in Donetsk, non-residential buildings in Yalta, as well as a Brig brand ship, two Toyota Sienna and Toyota Land Cruiser 100 cars.
