In Ukraine, where from February 1, the procedure for calculating monetary rewards for the defenders of Ukraine was changed, the Verkhovna Rada will soon consider the return of military allowances of 30,000 hryvnia, regardless of the place of service. The corresponding draft law No. 9071 has already been registered in the Parliament.
“Such a significant change in the order and size of the payment of monetary allowances during the period of active hostilities negatively affects the morale of the army and, as a result, the defense capability of the state”- stated in the explanatory note to the bill.
In addition, it is planned to increase the size of the monthly monetary allowance of military personnel by an average of 50%.
As wrote, the other day in Ukraine approved a new level of monetary allowance for military personnel in 2023.
