The United States again expressed concern about the “alliance of China with Russia” against the backdrop of a brutal and illegal invasion of Ukraine. This was stated by a representative of the US State Department, commenting on the conversation between Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, writes CNN.
“Beijing claims to be neutral, but its behavior makes it clear that it is still investing in close ties with Russia. a spokesperson said in a statement to CNN. - The United States and Europe have warned China of the consequences of providing Russia with military assistance for its war against Ukraine or systematically helping to evade sanctions. We are closely following Beijing’s activities.”
According to him, those who side with Moscow in this unjust war will inevitably find themselves on the wrong side of history:
“The world is watching which nations stand up for the basic principles of freedom, self-determination and sovereignty, while standing by or silently supporting Russia in its deliberate and unprovoked war of its own choosing.”
