The highlight we want to see
Having endured a host of health issues, such as a severe stroke at the start of Season 1 and a heart attack later in Season 3 amid Kendall’s mutinous act against him and company, you have to wonder how long Logan Roy will be able to maintain an iron grip on the throne. own company. After all, he came very close to being kicked out at the end of last season, with his physical and mental health at risk throughout the show. But what if Armstrong and his writing team should have speeded up the process a bit. We would like to see amazing Matthew Macfayden (Tom Wambsgans) vents his frustration at his emasculation at the hands of his manipulative and calculating wife, Shiv, at the head of Waystar. Or let his errand boy, Cousin GregNicholas Brown) to do it for him.
Roy on Roy Crime
With their future, along with so much money and prestige at stake, Roy’s kids give the term “sibling rivalry” a whole new meaning. With each season, disagreements and betrayals escalate. So much so that by the end of Season 3 we see them resort to an alliance because neither of them has shown the willingness or ability to actually do what it will ultimately take to bring down Pops Roy. What better way to increase your chances of becoming the next king or queen than to reduce the number of candidates available for selection. That’s right, have one of the Swarms eliminate some of their competition.
Who is most likely to take the action? Why, Kendall, of course. He has proven that he can get a little upset at any moment if the stress gets too high. But maybe he, again, is too obvious a choice. Shiv could probably get Tom to do this with little more than one but passionate spinning in the hay combined with even the smallest amount of flattery or displays of affection. Roman is certainly devious enough to kill one of his siblings, but will almost certainly screw it up somehow. That leaves Conner, whose complete lack of free will and inability to read in a room would make him the most unlikely but most powerful Roy to get rid of Logan. That is if he can be pulled away from his quixotic run for President of the United States.
Don’t Forget the Supporting Characters
She was sexually harassed, humiliated and underestimated throughout the series. Yes, we would also like to see a plot involving an outsider and Waystar General Counsel, Jerry Kellman (J. She’s smart and definitely has business acumen, but is she smart enough to grease the right palms and move the chess pieces appropriately? She’s been in Roy’s family for quite some time and comes across as a flighty, harmless wannabe actress, but we’d love to see her use Conner to infiltrate Roy’s inner circle. and cause chaos.
And finally, Rava Roy (Natalie Gold), who seems to be loitering around after a short hiatus since her divorce from Logan. Clearly she still has his ear and part of his cold black heart. She probably has more power and influence than we think. While some of these points are unlikely, it is interesting to consider what Jesse Armstrong may be in store for the most underprivileged 1 percent as they navigate the turbulent waters of one of the best family dramas ever made by HBO.
