Thomas Doherty Filming for upcoming romantic drama officially wrapped dandelion. The actor’s fan page posted an Instagram update saying that the actor is celebrating the end of filming. He’s going to share attention with Kiki Lane in the film when it releases next year.
dandelion will see Lane star as an acclaimed failed musician, striving for something much bigger despite the obstacles in her path. Living in Cincinnati, she decides to go all-in by taking a job in South Dakota ahead of a biker rally as a last chance to keep her career alive. Her playing pays off after a chance encounter with guitarist Casey (Doherty), who invites her to join his group of nomadic musicians. However, the two are at different stages in their careers and Casey has long put his musical dreams on hold. During her travels, Buttercup begins to discover who she really is as an artist and begins a tempestuous romance with Casey that changes the course of her life.
Doherty was originally announced for the role of Casey back in late October, when he was leaving Invitation. Now it’s closing dandelion just like he’s back on screens everywhere at HBO Gossip resurrection as Max Wolfe. The long-awaited new season debuted on December 1, bringing a whole new drama to the students of Constance Billard. Now that these two have been taken care of, he looks forward to Fall into darkness which was announced in June 2021. dandelion will mark the second feature for writer/director Nicole Riegel after dazzling festival audiences with his coming-of-age debut film Holler. She teamed up again with IFC Films, who will distribute the film. Ryan Cahill Griffin Drive Productions, Adam Cobbas well as Pete McClellan will also join Riegel as a producer, while Lane will serve in a dual role as both host and executive producer. Rounding out the production team, along with Lane, are executive producers. Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Fred Berger Automation, Matthew Helderman, Luke Tayloras well as Tyler Gould from BondIt Media Capital.
