The water dropped by 20 cm, but people with boats are asked not to go: volunteers were contacted in the Kherson Regional District

In the Kherson region, a decrease in the level of high water was recorded. Last night the water dropped by 20 cm.

This was announced by the head of the Kherson OVA Alexander Prokudin in Telegram.

He noted that on the right bank of the Kherson region, the water is kept at the level of 5.38 meters, in Kherson - 5.35 meters. However, the water level is gradually decreasing.

“We can already see that the water has fallen by 20 cm overnight. Preliminarily, as of today, 3624 houses have been drowned in 32 settlements of the Kherson region. By morning, 2352 people were evacuated, we are also saving friends of the smaller ones - about 550 animals were evacuated. ”Prokudin said.

The head of the region also urged residents from flooded areas to evacuate, as it is dangerous to stay there.

At the same time, the Kherson OVA urged volunteers with boats who were planning to help with the rescue operation not to travel to Kherson due to the security situation.

“If necessary, we will separately inform you if such assistance is needed! Now there are enough forces to save people and animals from the flooded areas.- the message says.

Recall that due to the explosion of Kafirs at the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, the settlements of the Kherson region were under the threat of flooding. The occupied left bank of the Kherson region suffered the most from the water, where Ukrainian rescuers cannot reach, because the Russian monsters do not allow it.

At the same time, the Russian invaders cynically fire at the residents of Kherson and the region, who are trying to evacuate. Yesterday, as a result of shelling, according to preliminary data, 18 people were injured, another person died.
