Russia attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones: 14 enemy UAVs shot down (video)

On the night of Tuesday, March 28, rashists once again attacked Ukraine from the air - the enemy used 15 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136 type, 14 of which destroyed units of the Defense Forces.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy also used guided aerial bombs. The attack with barrage ammunition was carried out from the northern and southeastern directions. Su-35 fighter jets took off from the Morozovsk airfield in the Rostov region and attacked the Kherson region with two guided aerial bombs. In addition to enemy kamikaze drones, one Granat-4 reconnaissance UAV was also shot down.

According to the head of the Kyiv city military administration, Sergei Popk, 12 UAVs were detected and destroyed in the airspace of Kyiv.

At night, the mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, reported explosions in Svyatoshinsky and Obolonsky districts. Later, the KMVA clarified that as a result of the fall of the UAV fragments in the Svyatoshinsky district, a fire broke out in a non-residential building. The fire was extinguished, fortunately, there were no casualties.

The fire covered 4 thousand square meters. meters. For several hours, our rescuers tamed the flames. The fire has already been extinguished.”he added.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day the enemy launched 24 air and 12 missile strikes, carried out 55 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems. On March 27, a missile attack was carried out on the infrastructure of the city of Slovyansk, Donetsk region. There are dead and injured, multi-storey and private houses are damaged.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Limansky, Bakhmutsky, Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions. The fiercest battles continue for Bakhmut, Avdeevka and Maryinka. Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine repulsed 62 enemy attacks in the indicated directions.

In the Kupyansk and Limansk directions, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Krokhmalnoe, Kremennoye, Kuzmino, Belogorovka, Verkhnekamyanskoye and Berestovoye.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy continues the assault operations of the city of Bakhmut, which is maintained by our defenders, as well as in the areas of the settlements of Orekhovo-Vasilovka, Bogdanovka, Ivanovskoye and Ozaryanovka.

On the Avdeevsky and Maryinsky directions, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the direction of the settlements of Stepnoye, Avdeevka, Severnoye, Pervomayskoye, Nevelskoye and Maryinka. He used non-lethal aerosol “tear” grenades.

In the Zaporizhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is defending and shelling the settlements of Volnoe Pole, Novoselka, Novopol of the Donetsk region; Poltavka, Malinovka, Gulyaypole, Zheleznodorozhnoye, Belogorye, Novodanilovka, Zaporozhye region and Kherson, Cossack and Antonovka.

“The Russian occupiers continue to strengthen regime measures in the temporarily occupied territories. Recently, there has been a trend when restrictions on the free movement of citizens of Ukraine between settlements are introduced. In particular, in the Gorlovsky district of the Donetsk region, as well as in the Kakhovsky district of the Kherson region, it is impossible to get into certain settlements without local registration”- the message says.

Aviation of the Defense Forces over the past day inflicted 9 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel of the occupiers, as well as one on the anti-aircraft missile system. Also, over the past day, our soldiers shot down 5 enemy reconnaissance UAVs of various types. The rocket and artillery units, at the same time, hit 3 command posts, as well as the enemy manpower concentration area, an artillery unit in a firing position, ammunition composition, fuel and lubricants composition and two more important targets of the invaders.

Recall that during the massive attack on March 17, the enemy used rockets and kamikaze drones. Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions were under attack.
