Two-time Olympic boxing champion Vasily Lomachenko, whose Instagram page became inaccessible in Ukraine, got into a scandal while attending the UFC 285 mixed martial arts tournament in Las Vegas, in the main battle of which the legendary Jon Jones won the champion title.
The broadcast included an episode in which the Ukrainian boxer hugs Russian UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and takes a group photo. In the video, you can also see the manager of Vasily and Oleksandr Usyk, Egis Klimas, who allegedly attended the tournament in the company of a Ukrainian.

The act of Lomachenko, who on May 20 may meet in the ring with the American Devin Haney, caused a strong reaction on the network.
“While we have a war here, Vasya Lomachenko flies to the USA to have fun and hug the Russians,” posted on Twitter activist Sergei Sternenko. - Having permission to travel abroad, Lomachenko flew to the States to watch the UFC championship.
During one of the breaks, Lomachenko approached the Russian Islam Makhachev, hugged him and took a photo together. Makhachev supports the aggression of his pigsty against Ukraine. In fact, Lomachenko also supports this aggression.
What surprises me most about Lomachenko’s impudence is the lack of reaction from the SBU. This is an absolute mockery of a nation that is fighting for its existence and the maximum disregard for all the victims of this war.”
Recall that Makhachev, who has 24 victories and 1 defeat, is infamous for his visits to Chechnya and his friendship with Ramzan Kadyrov.
Earlier, FACTS reported that Stakhovsky called Lomachenko a moron because of a scandalous church video.
