Prosecutors proved in court that the defendant was in the city on January 13, 2018. Shostka, near his house, met two unfamiliar 15-year-old girls who were waiting for his neighbor. The husband suggested that the girls come to him to wait for a neighbor in the apartment. The girls agreed.
Then they were going to go home, but the man closed the door.
Closing the door, he took advantage of his physical advantage and raped the girls. At the same time, he filmed the process on video and threatened that he would post the recording on the Internet if they told anyone about the rape.
In court, the accused did not admit his guilt, tried to assure the court that he had given the keys to his apartment to a neighbor, so he was not at home and he did not know what was happening there. But by the decision of the court, all his arguments were found unfounded, and his guilt proved.
By the verdict of the court of first instance on March 1, 2023, he was sentenced to 9 years in prison.
