The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine receives many questions with a request to clarify the changes in the new procedure for paying monetary allowances to military personnel.
The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine wrote about this on the social network Anna Malyar.
We are talking about the accrual of an additional monetary reward of 100,000 and 30,000 hryvnias paid to military personnel who serve in military units and subunits as part of the Defense Forces or the reserve of the Commander-in-Chief and are located within the areas of combat operations.
She also gave examples of questions asked and answers to them.
For example, Ukrainians are interested in, for a part (in proportion to the days) of an additional remuneration of 100 thousand hryvnias, persons who do not perform the task directly on fire damage (drivers delivering fuel, ammunition, food, water, engineers, signalmen, drivers “medic”) claim) ?
It turns out that the new procedure establishes that the performance of tasks for fire damage on the line of combat collision is not a prerequisite for paying additional remuneration in the amount of 100,000 hryvnias.
In accordance with the new order, military personnel involved in performing tasks at zero (delivery of diesel fuel to tanks, delivery of food and water, evacuation of personnel and property, arrangement of firing positions, provision of communications) are paid additional remuneration in the amount of 100 thousand hryvnias in proportion to the time it takes to complete these tasks.
In the case of performing similar tasks (according to combat orders (instructions)) to provide military units that carry out assignments for their intended purpose not on “zeros”, but in combat areas, the payment of such remuneration is already in the amount of 30 thousand hryvnias (calculated per month in proportion to execution time of combat (special) missions).
At the same time, in another message, Malyar specifically clarified one important point.
“Payment of additional remuneration in case of performing combat (special) tasks on the line of combat collision with the enemy to the depth of performing combat (special) tasks by a military unit (subunit, including combined) of the first echelon of defense or offensive (counteroffensive, counterattack) will be included in the battalion - in the amount of 100 thousand hryvnia, and in the case of performing combat (special) tasks in accordance with combat orders (instructions) related to the comprehensive support of the existing groupings of troops (forces) of the State Defense Forces directly in the areas of military (combat) operations, it is carried out. in the amount of 30 thousand hryvnias (calculated per month in proportion to the time of accomplishment of combat (special) tasks)”, the official explains.
That is, as can be understood from the explanation, the amount of payments will depend on how the order is issued: whether it is participation in the provision of existing groups of troops of the Defense Forces “at zero” or “in the combat zone.”
Also, Ukrainians often ask if the family of a tanker, signalman, or rear serviceman who died not on the “first line” will receive financial assistance.
In response, the Deputy Minister emphasized that the payment of a one-time financial assistance to the families of servicemen who died during martial law is carried out in case of death during the performance of their duties and does not depend on the place of death: whether it happened near the line of combat clashes, in areas of combat operations or out of combat areas.
Recall that earlier the government noted that Ukrainian servicemen participating in hostilities will be entitled not only to a preferential pension, but also to a pension for long service.
