The Verkhovna Rada, at a meeting on February 7, agreed with President Zelensky’s proposals to extend martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine.
According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the first proposal was supported by 348 deputies.
According to the decision, martial law will be extended from February 19, 2023 and will last again for 90 days. The general mobilization was also extended for the same period.
Reference: this is the sixth vote of the Ukrainian parliament for martial law since the beginning of the war. Prior to this, the Council has already approved similar decisions: February 24, March 15, April 21, August 15 and November 16.
Recall that now the invaders are gathering forces for a new attack on Ukraine. Analyst and publicist Viktor Andrusiv, who is fighting in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, suggested the directions where the Russians will attack, and where they will carry out an imitation of the offensive.
