Investohils Group of Companies handed over a powerful generator for the Olympic College and a hostel for athletes

Investohils Group of Companies donated a powerful generator to provide light to the Ivan Poddubny Olympic Professional College, where 550 students from all regions of Ukraine and Kyiv study and train.

According to the educational institution, the generator will provide electricity not only to the college and school buildings, but also to gyms for specialized sports, a hostel for 400 people and a canteen.

“The Olympic Vocational College is responsible for educating athletes from 15 sports that will bring glory to the country on the international stage in the near future. Our students train several times a day, and to interrupt this process is to slow down the development of an athlete, to lose time, which will be very difficult to make up later. Therefore, when power outages began, the college management began to look for an opportunity to preserve all the property of the institution, which made it possible to bring up dozens of Olympic champions, hundreds of world and European champions within our walls. The powerful generator provided to the college can now, if necessary, provide light for the hostel, administration building, school and sports halls. Therefore, my partners and I have made the decision to donate the college’s generator and support its students and coaches during this difficult winter for everyone.”

The separated structural subdivision “Olympic Professional College named after Ivan Piddubny of the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine” has been carrying out educational activities since July 7, 1966. The main direction of the college’s work is the preparation of a sports reserve for the national teams of Ukraine in 15 sports (football, athletics, fencing, swimming, synchronized swimming, artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, boxing, free wrestling, judo, cycling, academic rowing, ball with a puck) .
