Must read

It seems that in the next few days the main topic in the context of the Polish national football team will be the famous interview of Robert Lewandowski. The team captain spoke candidly about the past few months. Did RL9 form an alliance with coach Fernando Santos before posting?

On Saturday, September 2, it became unbearably hot in the theme of the Polish national football team. Robert Lewandowski spoke, touching on many issues related to the last, extremely unfortunate for the “white” and “red” months. An honest conversation with Mateusz Swiecicki (Meczyki.pl/Eleven Sports) received wide publicity. He mentioned the conversation of the Polish Football Association.

Is there an alliance between Lewandowski and Santos?

The aforementioned Swiecicki, the day after the premiere of the interview, raised the topic of the relationship between Levi and the coach of the Polish national team. Almost directly suggesting that there might have been an informal alliance between the captain and Santos in the context of what happened next.

– It seems to me that Robert Lewandowski made an alliance with Fernando Santos. And people don’t appreciate it […] I am convinced that the Portuguese knew very well that RL9 would give an interview and say what he wanted to say. […] People are wondering if this was a good time for the interview and if it will spoil the atmosphere in the national team even more. What is there to break? Is there a good atmosphere in the frame? Are there good results? Can you go below the loss to Moldova? Could there be even more shit on the team? – confessed the author of the interview to Levi in the Meczyki.pl studio.

It is worth recalling that the Portuguese went to Lewandowski long before the start of the September training camp. It is possible that one of the topics raised during the meeting was the question of a high-profile interview, which was finally given by the captain of the “white-reds”.

Intense autumn of the Polish national football team

Byalo-Chervoni will play six matches in the second half of 2023. During the September training camp, the team led by coach Fernando Santos will play at home with the Faroe Islands (7.09) and away with Albania (10.09). The next two Euro 2024 qualifiers will take place in October. First, a trip to the Faroe Islands (October 12), then a home match with Moldova (October 15).

In November, the Poles will play the last double. First, the match against the Czech Republic (November 17), which ends the qualifying stage for Euro 2024, and then a friendly match with Latvia (November 21).
