The Czech authorities opposed the issuance of so-called humanitarian visas to Russians fleeing mobilization, because they do not meet the conditions of EU law.
This is reported by the publication CTK.
“I understand that Russians are fleeing what Putin’s desperate decisions have caused. But those who flee the country because they do not want to fulfill the obligation imposed by their own state do not meet the conditions for obtaining a humanitarian visa,” said Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipovsky.
At the same time, the minister noted that his country will not issue humanitarian visas to Russian citizens who are trying to leave their country in order not to fall under mobilization.
The publication notes that earlier the European Commission said that the decision to admit Russian citizens to their territory is made by the member states themselves. Now the EU is discussing how to deal with the announcement of mass mobilization.
As you know, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization on the territory of Russia for its “protection and integrity.”
According to media reports, during the mobilization in the Russian Federation, the army can lead to a million people liable for military service. This is stated in the classified paragraph of the corresponding decree of the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin.
Meanwhile, the Federal Republic of Germany is ready to provide asylum to Russian citizens who evade mobilization, but at the same time they must oppose the regime of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
At the same time, as Pryamoi reported, Estonia will not hide Russian citizens who want to avoid mobilization and run away from their country.
By the way, the host of the Russian Youtube channel Popular Politics, Dmitry Nizovtsev, called the son of the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, Nikolai, on the air and, under the guise of a military commissar, invited him to come for an examination the next day at 10 am, but he refused.
