In season 7, Ray and Debra are visited by their new friends, Lauren and Neil Williamson, for dinner and they settle down after what seems to be a great night. As they begin to spend more time together, Lauren and Neil’s 8-year-old son, Spencer, and his rebellious behavior begin to annoy Ray, who begins to reconsider his new and Debra’s friends.

Hines appeared in the episode “The Annoying Child” as Lauren, who is similar to Debra in every way, except when it comes to raising children. Hynes is widely known for her role Larry Davidwife in the hit HBO comedy series, Curb Enthusiasmbut she has also made guest appearances on other popular TV comedies including Scrubs, Renault 911! In the season five premiere of Italy, Frank and Marie announce that they are all going on a two-week family vacation to Rome at their own expense. As soon as they arrive, Robert falls in love with the beautiful waitress Stefania, but their romance is quickly cut short by Stefania’s intimidating father, Marco, played by David Proval.

Failure has appeared in several episodes as Marco Fogagnolo and is known for his roles in The Shawshank Redemption And Martin Scorsesemovie, mean streets starring Robert DeNiro. Ray doesn’t want to go to his 20th high school reunion, and Debra meets her classmates for the first time, including his best friends from the time, Scott and Warren. As the night goes on, Debra hangs out with the former popular kids, causing Ray to feel left out and realize that he was a nerd in high school.

Bob Odenkirk first appeared as Ray’s socially awkward sidekick Scott in season 2 episode 10 “High School” and returned in season 5 episode “Self Value”. Debra’s parents, Lois and Warren Whelan, invite Ray and his family to dine at a fine French restaurant as a treat. Lois and Warren’s extensive travel is a running joke in the Barone family, but when Ray comments on where they’re going for Thanksgiving, he gets in trouble with both families.

Throughout the show Who is in charge?star, Katherine Helmond, appeared in a total of 14 episodes as Debra’s mother, Lois. Although Helmond is best known for her starring role as Mona Robinson on the hit 80s family sitcom, she also had supporting roles in several popular films including Overboard, Bandits of time and Pixar Cars trilogy.

6 Kevin James

When Robert is named captain of his and Ray’s basketball team, Ray becomes jealous, but the power ends up hitting Robert in the head and the team eventually turns against him. They decide to make Ray their new captain, and while he enjoys coaching his team, Ray finds himself missing out on spending time with his family.

Kevin James first appeared in the first season in the episode “Captain Nemo” as Kevin, who is on Ray’s amateur basketball team. James returned to the role of Ray’s sidekick for several episodes of the show’s second season before starring in a sitcom spin-off. king of queenslike Doug Heffernan. In episode 17 of season 4 “Hakidu”, Ray’s daughter Ellie trades all of her Hakidu cards for one card that Ray believes to be a fake and forces the kids to trade. When Ray realizes that the card Ellie traded was very rare and expensive, he tries to fix things by buying the card from Amy’s eccentric brother, Russell, played by Paul Reubens.

Reubens, who is best known for his character role as Pee Wee Herman, originally played Amy MacDougall’s brother before the character was portrayed. Shitts Creek star, Chris Elliott as Peter. The show never talks about what happened to Amy’s brother Russell, but surprisingly, Elliott manages to bring an even more quirky and obnoxious character to the show than the original version of Reubens’ character.

4 Terry Bradshaw

Ray has an interview scheduled with former football star Terry Bradshaw about writing his biography, but when Debra and the kids get sick, Ray has to take the kids to the doctor. While Ray takes care of his children, he also tries to save an appointment with Bradshaw to meet him at his children’s pediatrician, and Bradshaw did not expect to show up there.

In the show’s first season episode “Debra Is Sick,” Bradshaw walks into the doctor’s office, completely overwhelmed, until he sees Ray with his children. The episode opens with golden comedy when Ray tries to have a meeting with Bradshaw, who casually sits on a large stuffed giraffe. The appearance of a football star is not very long, but in this short period of time he manages to make many people laugh.

3 Barry Bonds

At the beginning of the episode “Diamonds,” Ray has just finished interviewing baseball icon Barry Bonds, who is annoyed by reporters who always rebuke him for his salary. The two have an interesting conversation about their salaries, and somehow Bonds makes Ray feel like a millionaire.

Ray’s profession on the show sets the stage for a number of professional athletes, but Bonds telling Ray about his $7 million salary sets him apart from the other guests. While the title of the episode is a reference to Debra’s wedding ring, the title is also a reference to Bonds and the diamond baseball field.

2 Kareem Abdul Jabbar

In the Season 1 episode “Frank the Writer”, Ray’s father, Frank, writes a funny story that ends up being published in Reader’s Digest. This achievement makes Frank think he is actually a good writer and strives to write a column like Ray does. Before Frank’s big news, Ray has a surprise guest, a former NBA star, Karim Abdul Jabbar.

Jabbar’s guest appearance has literally nothing to do with the rest of the episode, but starts on a hilarious note when Debra doesn’t even realize that Jabbar is in her house. The fact that someone can fall asleep in the presence of a greatness like Jabbar is hilarious in itself and makes the basketball star one of the best celebrity cameos on the show.

When Ray’s uncle Gus passes away, Ray is asked to give a eulogy for his beloved uncle. As the family gathers for service, Ray becomes nervous about the conversation, but ends up having a bigger problem when his Aunt Alda arrives and tensions erupt between her and Ray’s mother, Marie.

Stapleton received universal acclaim for her role as one of television’s most beloved mother and wife, Edith Bunker on the cult family sitcom. All in the family. Her hilarious appearance as Ray’s aunt is not only the highlight of the first-season episode “Wish I Was Gus” but also a fitting tribute to the American sitcom.
