Of course, some of the names that come to mind are like Florence Pugh V midsommar or Anya Taylor-Joy V Witch. Both of these performers have shown an incredible talent for diving deep into the world of horror and creating realistic and terrifying performances.

With these performances comes a huge number of fans, but the fans do not know that they have already been in the world of horror before. Fans might be surprised to see their favorite horror stars in these underrated films.

1 ‘Brain Brain’ (2017)

When their mother dies, the young man and his three siblings hide their mother’s death in order to stay together. As they flee to an abandoned farm, they fear finding a place that is not what it seems. Tortured by the sinister presence, the siblings find themselves haunted by a dark secret hidden within the walls of the farm.

Starring two mega horror stars, Mia Goth and Anya Taylor-Joy Bone marrow this is one film that is all too easy to overlook. With a broken family at its center, the movie does wonders for making each character someone the audience can sympathize with. Combined with a beautiful love story, Bone marrowredefines the “haunted house” narrative through an effective psychological breakdown. I must say that the ending will be remembered by the viewer for many days.

2 “Spiteful” (2018)

Angela (Florence Pugh) and her brother make a living out of their fake ghost-trapping scams. When Jackson and his team are hired to inspect an old haunted foster home, they uncover dark secrets and a horrifying past. As their scam continues, Angela becomes increasingly unsure of what is real and what is a scam, as she is convinced that she can hear the girls screaming at her. But the paranormal is the least of their worries when they discover the real evil in the house.

Thanks to Pugh’s international success in midsommar, vicious It may seem like the movie is being sidelined, but it’s actually a great take on a ghost story. Released a year before midsommar, vicious managed to bow their heads towards Pugh, and viewers commented that she was a rising star. They were right.

3 “Health Cure” (2016)

health cure combines fantasy and horror to create a mesmerizingly creepy film. What’s more, DeHaan and Goth did a great job: Goth plays an ethereal and innocent patient that DeHaan befriends (and who plays a key role in what’s to come).

4 ‘Tusk’ (2014)

Justin Long quickly became famous in the horror world with many outstanding performances. Worth mentioning is 2022. 5 ‘Sinister’ (2012)

WITH Ethan Hawkerecent success as Grabber in black phone, Hawk cemented his reputation in the horror film. With other great work such as his role as a sadistic serial killer in Taking livesone film that should not be overlooked is his work in Sinister.

The film follows Allison Oswalt (Hawke), a crime novelist, as he moves with his family to a house where a horrific crime has occurred in the past, but keeps his family in the dark about it. To continue his research for the crime book, Oswalt examines the video footage he finds throughout the house, but soon learns more than he expected.

6 ‘Orphan’ (2009)

Kate (Vera Farmiga) and her husband John (Peter Sarsgaard) adopt Esther (Isabelle Fuhrman), a nine-year-old girl who lost a child. Everything seems to be going perfectly for John and Esther, but something is wrong with Kate and her other children. They quickly learn of her mysterious past and encounter several disturbing psychological traits that leave Kate fearful for her family’s safety.

Farmiga is best known for her role as Lorraine Warren in spell row. The Conjuring universe is one of the most notable horror franchises and Farmiga’s performance in it is simply outstanding, but her other roles in other horror films cannot be ignored. Farmiga proves she has what it takes in many different roles.

7 “Let Me In” (2009)

Although she starred in films of various genres, Chloe Grace Moretz has been a fairly traditional scream queen throughout her career. Between one of her first appearances in the remake The Amityville Horror And Carrie remake, she showed a genuine dedication to horror. We hope viewers get to see more of her.

Now she should be able to live her life without fear, but she still thinks he is watching her from somewhere. Events then lead her to believe that this is more than just a feeling.

Viewers first met Jackson-Cohen in The ghosts of the house on the hill And The Haunting of Bly Manor. Jackson-Cohen played two completely different characters. Mike Flanaganuniverse, but what must not be forgotten is his ability to play a brutal stalker in Invisible Man. Especially when he remains invisible for two thirds of the film.

9 ‘Fun’ (2020)
