- WITH Breaking Bad dominates the 2022 Redditors poll of the best TV shows of all time (with Better call Saul taking second place), it’s clear that this award-winning series is still a big hit. Since the prequel series also ended last year, fans can’t be blamed for missing out on some of their favorite heroes, anti-heroes, and well-written villains from the original show.
Some say that a story is only as good as its villain. Breaking Bad it has so many great villains that it’s hard to narrow it down to ten. That is, if you consider Walter White to be the protagonist or anti-hero of the story rather than the villain.
The villains in this series were written to attack Walter White in almost every possible way that a person could be attacked. And while, of course, Walter White is also evil (himself an antagonist who makes many questionable decisions), it’s no secret that fans have been rooting for him throughout the series. Anyone who gets in his way is considered an antagonist, but only a few Breaking Bad villains stand out as truly evil characters.
WITH Breaking Bad dominates the 2022 Redditors poll of the best TV shows of all time (with Better call Saul taking second place), it’s clear that this award-winning series is still a big hit. Since the prequel series also ended last year, fans can’t be blamed for missing out on some of their favorite heroes, anti-heroes, and well-written villains from the original show.
10 Jesse Pinkman
Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) is primarily an ally of Walter White (Bryan Cranston) V Breaking Bad, but several times he cheats, cheats, or tries to confuse Walter. Jesse is not so much a villain as he looks like a prodigal son who is led astray and seduced by greed and quick money.
He is an ally, an adversary of Walter White, as he is an ally for most of the series. However, when he clashes with Walter White, it’s powerful because the audience is emotionally invested in both characters.
9 Mike Ehrmantraut
Unforgettable Breaking Bad character, Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks) is in many ways better than Walter White because he really does the evil he does to help his family. Walter White uses his family as an excuse to be who he is on the inside.
A cancer diagnosis gave Walter White the push and credibility he needed to be who he is. On the other hand, Mike would have preferred to provide for his family in another way. Viewers see how true this is in his touching storylines in Better call Saul, which further explore his relationship with his granddaughter, daughter-in-law, and the painful loss of his son. He is a loyal man more than an evil one. If you hire him for a job, he will do it, even if it is an immoral job.
8 Jimmy McGill / Saul Goodman
Saul Goodman (English)Bob Odenkirk) was once a good person, but now he is not in Breaking Bad row. He is a man who loves the scam and the excitement of the life of a scammer. He is a selfish, self-centered man who only cares about Saul Goodman.
Fans learn more about Sol’s backstory in prequel series Better call Saulwhich highlights the internal conflict Saul (then called Jimmy) went through to become who he is. Breaking Bad. While his bad experience doesn’t justify his morally corrupt behavior, he does explain why he turned down a job as a good lawyer to live the life of a con man.
7 Tuco Salamanca
Tuco SalamancaRaymond Cruz) is Walter White’s methamphetamine distributor. He is an evil, cruel man. He has one thing that makes him more human than evil, and that is his respect for the elders in his family.
He is such a proud and angry man that helping a man like Tuco might be impossible. It would be an exaggeration to call him completely evil, as it suggests that there is some level of thought or malice in his actions, but as fans already know, Tuco simply acts and chooses violence without a second thought, leading to some shockingly horrifying situations. V Breaking Bad.
6 Hector Salamanca
Hector Salamanca (ur.Mark Margolis) ranks relatively low if we take into account only its actions and state in Breaking Bad row. He uses a wheelchair and must ring a bell to speak. He could be more mean and evil if he was able physically, which is what fans see in Better call Saul. If Hector were younger, he would probably rank higher because he is an evil, violent person who takes pleasure in hurting others.
Hector, like Tuco Salamanca, has great respect and love for the family, which gives him some human qualities. However, these values are distorted by the Salamanca family’s tendency to solve any problem with violence and greed.
5 Lydia Rodart-Quayle
Lydia Rodart-QuayleLaura Fraserlisten)) is a significant enemy of Walter White in the fifth season. Breaking Bad. She’s like the kind of person who smiles in your face and then shoots you in the back when you turn around, or snitches on her best friend if she’s in jail.
During Lydia’s time Breaking Bad, she seems to be more motivated by fear and greed than by being an evil person. She does have a rotten core of her character that seems to hint that some of her actions may not be so much about survival as it is about being a heinous villain.
4 Todd Alquist
Todd Alquist (ur.Jesse Plemons) is an evil character because he lacks conscience or empathy. If he didn’t live a life of crime, he would probably be a mass murderer or serial killer just for fun or something to do when he’s bored.
Plemons does a great job as Todd and he plays the character like Todd doesn’t know what’s wrong with what he’s doing, especially what he’s doing with Jesse Pinkman. Todd believes that killing people without the slightest remorse is a normal course of action, and this is what makes him so evil and dangerous. That nonchalance and genuine belief that he’s doing everything right makes Todd the kind of person you never want to be friends with.
3 Cousins (Marco and Leonel Salamanca)
Twins (Daniel And Luis Moncada) are similar to the human Terminator. They are even robotic in the way they walk. They had a difficult childhood, and it affected them.
They’re drug cartel hitmen who may well be twins, but are really just (horribly) close relatives. They want to do the job they were hired to do and have no compassion or empathy for those they are assigned to kill. Also, these two have a strong sense of justice (in a twisted way) when they feel they are being wronged. When they decide that they must take revenge - as in the case of Hank - there is no stopping them.
2 Gustavo Fring
At one time, Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) may have been or had the potential to be a good person, but his life of crime so hardened him that the person, Gus, once was or might no longer exist.
He is the main authority on Breaking Bad row. He covers up his drug business by owning a legitimate business and doing charity work. His heart and conscience have become evil, and he ponders what Walter White might have wanted to be. Gus is mean, but he’s also calculating. He doesn’t kill when he doesn’t feel the need, but he doesn’t hesitate when it’s time to give an order.
1 Jack Welker
Jack WelkerMichael Bowen) is the leader of a neo-Nazi gang and the most evil Breaking Bad character. This is a person who is motivated by the moment. He may seem like a man motivated by money, but he is driven by pride and pleasure. If he wants to kill someone, he does it; if he wants to take something, he takes it and feels that he deserves it.
Jack is a sadist who enjoys torturing and humiliating people. He raised his nephew, Todd Ahlquist, to be a cold-blooded killer like himself, which put him in first place as the most reprehensible villain in the series.
