Studio Marvel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever it’s a gift that keeps on giving! After a successful release, the film became the most viewed Marvel premiere since its debut on Disney+. The studio is now celebrating the release of the film on Blu-ray and digital, which contains many deleted scenes and featurettes. To mark the occasion, the studio’s official Twitter account posted a new deleted scene.
In a short video presented Danai Gurira, we see Okoye face to face with Dora Milahe. The scene seems to take place after Queen Ramonda fires Okoye when Namor and his warriors take Shuri away. In the clip, Okoye is seen obsessed with finding the missing princess, with Ayo trying to stop her. In an exciting moment, Ayo calls the rest of the Dora Milahe, who surround her from both sides. As Okoye prepares for the fight, Ayo pleads again, “Okoye, you trained us. All of us. Don’t make us shed your blood.” Whether she wins them all or not can only be seen at the film’s home screenings.
When will we see Okoye again in the MCU?
Gurira previously talked about the possibility of an Okoye series in an interview, “I was told… that I could gently hint at the possibility.” Bye Wakanda forever closed Phase 4 of the MCU, fans will surely see the realm of Afro-futurists in spin-off series like Dominic Thorne. Iron heart and a potential spin-off of Gurira’s Okoye. As the MCU unfolds the Multiverse saga, it will be interesting to see how our favorite heroes play out.
The film already features characters such as Riri Williams, Namor and the new protector of Wakanda in the form of Black Panther Shuri, who are expected to become main players. Avengers: Secret Wars- judging by the storylines of comics. However, Marvel Studios has a penchant for shaping characters and stories to fit their cinematic universe, which makes it all the more exciting to watch it play out. Film in bags Angela Bassett Oscar nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category for her flawless portrayal of Queen Ramonda. He also throws Letitia Wright like Shuri, Tenoch Huerta as Namor, Thorne as Riri Williams/Ironheart, Winston Duke like M’Baku and more.
