Emily in Paris Season 3 is very messy. The show that began as a seemingly harmless escapist fantasy about an American girl living her French dream has now become something else entirely. Featuring love triangles, infidelities, lies and even unwanted pregnancies, the show elevates the drama to eleven, solidifying its dubious reputation as one of Netflix’s biggest guilty pleasures.
Characters from Emily in Paris hardly the only ones on TV who love dirty drama. Many other shows feature insatiable characters who love and live for the mess they make. Whether they are scheming, manipulating, lying or cheating, these characters can’t get enough; the dirtier the better.
“Emily in Paris” (2020-)
Emily in Paris fashionista’s dream. The show has beautiful sets and even more beautiful people in luxurious outfits worrying about trivial things. However, since season 2, the series has become more and more confusing, with almost every character living for the chaos they cause.
From the indecisive Emily who insists on spending time with her friend’s boyfriend, whom she is also supposedly in love with, to the exuberant Camille who cheats on her boyfriend and agrees to marry him despite not trusting him, it’s all in series - agents. chaos. “Gilmore Girls” (2000–2007)

Grey’s Anatomy more over the top than messy, but the characters are still captivated by the drama they evoke. The hospital has seen everything from hostage-taking to patients with toxic blood poisoning of doctors in the operating room. However, the characters still find enough time to sort out their messed up love lives.
Meredith is back in the saddle after her husband’s tragic death. Her love story with Derek was convoluted enough to sustain eleven dramatic seasons, but she had more than enough energy left to sustain eight more seasons. There are a lot of overblown dramas on TV, but Grey’s Anatomy occupies a special place in the pantheon of excess and disorder.
‘Stewardess’ (2020 -)
Cassandra Bowden is one of the best characters on television. A self-destructive, self-destructive flight attendant battling substance addiction, Cassie is one of the best anti-heroes on television and an extremely attractive and attractive figure.

Most of the show’s storylines involve the girls’ love lives. And given that they’re in college, things get very messy very quickly. However, there is an undeniable charm to girls’ dilemmas; their disorder is not harmful or problematic to anyone but themselves. The show is a comedy about coming of age, and growing up means making a lot of mistakes.
‘Gossip Girl’ (2007 - 2012)
Most teen shows have a hefty dose of drama, but it often goes against the wishes of the characters. No Gossip. These children love drama; they actively pursue him, using the blogger of the same name in their schemes and power games, wreaking havoc and leaving a trail of destruction.
The Upper East Side is a world of great wealth and privilege, and children in Gossip use it to get away from almost everything. Maybe that’s why they love mess so much; they know that no matter what they do, they will always be on top. When it premiered in 2007, the show was an absolute treat, and even if time hasn’t been kind to it, Gossip remains a precious pearl of depravity.
‘Elite’ (2018 -)
Teen shows sometimes deal with regular drama. Perhaps someone took someone else’s boyfriend away, or the friendship ended due to lies and deceit. Then there is Elitea show in which a new murder takes place every school year.
Elite is an ode to excess, the over-the-top, elusive mess of a show that gets more and more pointless with each new season. Children in Elite live for chaos, going so far as to actively provoke it to amuse themselves. These teenagers are not content with throwing parties or disobeying their parents; instead of; they love threesomes, incest, murder plots and outsmarting the police at every turn. “Dirty” doesn’t even begin to cover it up.
“I’ve Never Been” (2020 -)
Few characters are as dirty as Never I neverDevi Vishwakumar. She is arrogant, insecure, somewhat self-destructive, reckless, and often insensitive. And yet she is one of the most interesting characters on television, the imperfect heroine of the internet age.
Never I never is a brilliant show and one of Netflix’s biggest gems, thanks in large part to Maitreya Ramakrishnan’s performance as Devi. She is a character that empowers people to try, make mistakes, make mistakes, and start over. Devi loves mess - damn she is an mess embodied. However, this is what makes it fascinating and related. More characters should be as unapologetic as she is.
‘Sex and the City’ (1998 - 2004)
Carrie Bradshaw is the real queen of the mess. Whether it’s chasing an emotionally unavailable man who breaks her heart too many times, or cheating on a really good guy with said emotionally unavailable man, Carrie has redefined what it means to be dirty.
Sex in the city broke down barriers and defied conventions, and a huge part of his success was due to the fact that the title role was such a hot mess like Carrie. Like New York itself, La Bradshaw is self-centered, self-destructive, noisy, chaotic and unstoppable, a force of nature whose disorder comes from within. And while many hate her for it, it’s undeniable that there has never been and never will be another Carrie Bradshaw on TV.
