Where would Mike, Eleven, Steve and the rest of our heroes be without Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo)? The answer is not worth thinking about. In four seasons, Dustin was the first to make a number of important discoveries. He found that the compasses were affected by the gate. He discovered that the Russians had infiltrated Hawkins. His years of torture and experimentation have turned many children’s lives into hell, but in doing so, he has created the only person capable of stopping Vecna. His intelligence will be lacking, and the character is not.
