Most people who have received IDP status have not yet received social payments from the state. The government explains that these are mainly those citizens who registered and submitted their documents through Action.
This was stated by the Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine Iryna Vereshchuk.
According to her, many complain that they cannot receive accrued payments, or at all, they applied and did not receive money.
“We are investigating the reason. To summarize, the most common reason is this: people registered in Action. “Action” did not transfer this data to the social security authorities, and these are tens of thousands of people who are now complaining that “Action” did not transfer such data,” Vereshchuk said.
She added that the ministry centralized such payments.
“The Ministry of Social Policy pays them, but there were about 250 thousand people. 90 thousand has already been paid, we are helping the rest: we are increasing the number of computers, programs,” she said.
The Minister added that now the hotline number 15-48 for IDPs is not silent. More often they raise the question of payments.
There were reasons for incorrect paperwork. When people gave in and waited for several months, but got nothing because of these mistakes. Therefore, when people call us, we solve these problems,” Vereshchuk said.
Also, for internally displaced persons, the functionality in Action will be improved. Soon it will be possible to change the place of residence when relocating.
