The sloping lines of the bonnet highlight Mitsubishi’s iconic Three Diamonds, surrounded by lighting elements.
The new Colt will be available in a palette of 5 paint finishes: Metallic Onyx Black, Sunrise Red, Royal Blue, Volcanic Gray and Solid Arctic White. There will be three wheel sizes to choose from: 15-inch steel, as well as 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels.

A hybrid version (HEV) will also be available, combining a 1.6-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with an advanced multi-mode automatic transmission capable of generating 143 horsepower. The hybrid unit uses a 36 kW electric motor, a high voltage generator and a 1.2 kWh battery to support the internal combustion engine. It also offers the option to regenerate braking energy for increased efficiency and is suitable for urban environments where up to 80% of braking energy is used. driving time is carried out by an electric motor.
The new Colt will be equipped with Multi-Sense, which will allow you to change driving modes, including steering and transmission response, tailoring the new COLT to your needs and preferences.
Safety, comfort and convenience
The Japanese car will be equipped with the latest passive and active safety systems. The basis is a reinforced vehicle structure, which ensures greater integrity of the interior in the event of a collision. Pedestrians and cyclists receive additional protection by adapting the hood, front bumper, headlights and lower windshield to absorb impact energy. Safety is also ensured by a wide range of advanced driver assistance systems, including: a suite of ultrasonic sensors, cameras and radars that provide 360-degree tracking of the vehicle’s surroundings and support a suite of ADAS systems. Also available are adaptive cruise control (with Stop & Go), automatic high and low beams, blind spot warning, forward collision avoidance, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic warning and traffic sign recognition.
Comfort-enhancing features will include a heated steering wheel and seats, as well as an electric parking brake and a keyless entry and start system - the new COLTA’s smart key detects when the driver is leaving and automatically locks the doors when he is about one meter away.
Modern multimedia and sound system
The eCall system is standard on the new Colt, but the connectivity goes much further, as evidenced by Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, among others. Media can be controlled using the 7-inch capacitive screen with gesture support or the 9.3-inch capacitive screen with similar qualities, as well as voice control. Infotainment systems are complemented by an inductive charger and two USB ports, while acoustic quality is provided by an optional 9-speaker Bose Premium Sound System (including a subwoofer with new Fresh Air technology). The FAS system is an acoustic design that eliminates the need for traditional cabinets by delivering bass to the cabin through a patented duct system on the right side of the trunk, built into the vehicle’s structure.
