Ukrainian pension legislation provides that this year people with at least 30 years of insurance experience can retire at the age of 60. The length of service is the time when social contributions were paid for the employee. That is, in a month the ERUs must be paid, then it is taken into account in the insurance period.
However, it happens that an incomplete month is also taken into account in the insurance period. The details were explained at the FSP, answering questions from a woman who worked only 20 days last month and wondered if they could be taken into account.
“An incomplete month of work is counted in the insurance period as a full one, provided that the amount of insurance premiums paid for this month is not less than the minimum insurance premium. For example, in order for July 2023 to be included in the insurance period as full, an insurance premium in the amount of at least 22% of the minimum wage must be paid for the person (or person): 6700 × 22% u003d 1474 UAH “ - noted in the PFC and added that if a salary of at least UAH 6,700 was accrued for 20 days of work, a full month will be taken into account in the insurance period.
Recall that some categories of Ukrainians can receive a double insurance period and, due to this, retire much earlier. Such a right, in particular, has medical workers who worked in anti-plague and leprosy health care institutions; psychiatric health care institutions; departments and institutions where people infected with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or AIDS patients are treated and in infectious diseases institutions of intensive care units of health care institutions.
