In Kharkov on the Alley of Heroes reburied Hero of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Adamovsky. He devoted 13 years of his life to serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Oleg defended Ukraine as part of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after ataman Ivan Sirko. For special services in the defense of the Motherland, Lieutenant Colonel Oleg Adamovsky was awarded the Order of Bogdan Khmelnitsky III degree.

March 12, 2022, covering his brothers, Oleg gave his life during the defense of Kharkov. For personal courage and heroism shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the military oath, 30-year-old Oleg Adamovsky was posthumously awarded the title “Hero of Ukraine”.
- There was an opinion to rebury Oleg back in the late spring of 2022 - after the occupation of the village of Urozhaynoye, Donetsk region, where Oleg’s father’s house remained, - told wife of the fallen warrior Anna Adamovskaya. - But when I asked his parents about the reburial, dad was against it, he hoped to return home and go to Oleg’s grave whenever he wanted. A year has passed, a year later I visited the man only twice - before 40 days and on his birthday with Oleg’s dad. When we went to visit his grave on his birthday, I decided to raise the topic of reburial again, arguing that in a year to visit him 2 times is very little. That he is alone there, and if the occupation - I’ll go crazy! Here, in Kharkov, he will be at home, here I am, friends will be able to come to him at least every day, it will also be easier for brothers and all relatives to come to Kharkov, the city that my beloved loved very much.

Both parents agreed and a long process of bureaucracy began! I am very grateful to the people who helped me - lawyers and the general director of the Kharkov heating network Vasily Skopenko, he met my Oleg on February 24 in the vicinity of Kharkov, when he helped them with equipment and materials for the defense of the city. Thanks to them, a lot of work has been done. There were a lot of people at the reburial, people came from Odessa, Kiev, Dnieper, from positions, everyone came up and thanked us for bringing him back home, that everyone can now say goodbye to him and come to him at any time.
Thanks to caring people, Anna admits, she comes to her husband every weekend and talks with him, and thanks to fresh flowers she sees that people, friends, subordinates come to him …

- I had a dream about Oleg before the burial a few weeks later. Appeared in front of me and said: “Hi. Did you wait? I pounced on him, kissed him, cried, constantly repeated: “Buba, my Buba, my good one!“
Recall that earlier “FACTS” wrote about the death of a Ukrainian defender who had been at war all his adult life.
