In Ukraine, after the July increase in pensions, payments to Ukrainian pensioners increased by UAH 45.40 on average. But there are pensioners who are much more fortunate. In particular, the profits of the former military increased by 3,000 hryvnias over the past year, that is, in fact, by 1.5 times. Now their pension is about 9 thousand hryvnia, writes Retired.
At the same time, the average pension in Ukraine as of July this year is 4437 UAH. Compared to July 2021, it increased by only 17%.
During the last recalculation of pensions, which took place on July 1, the payments of Ukrainian pensioners changed as follows:
• minimum pension - increased by UAH 93, now it is UAH 2027;
• The minimum pension for miners is UAH 279, now it is UAH 6,082;
• the minimum pension for family members of servicemen who have lost their breadwinner - by UAH 186, now UAH 4054;
• the maximum pension payment is UAH 930, now it is UAH 20,270;
• Surcharge for overtime work – by 93 kopecks up to UAH 20.27 for each year.
The last July increase in pensions occurred simultaneously with the increase in the subsistence minimum for disabled Ukrainians, set at UAH 2027. All of the above payouts are directly related to this bet. In addition, according to the law, the minimum pension in Ukraine cannot be lower than the subsistence level.
As wrote, Ukrainian legislation provides for cases when pensioners can cut their pension or stop paying it. Payments may also be suspended if a person is granted missing person status under special circumstances.
