- It’s not by accident. It was just a favor. A lot of heads of state have had trouble moving because they’ve all been in London and now they’re all flying to New York. And whoever the president could help, he helped, - Minister Pavel Shrot (47), head of the office of the president of the Republic of Poland, explained in an interview with Fakt.
The problem for many heads of state to get to the US was that the organizers of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II insisted that the delegations arrive in London on regular flights. This was to help avoid confusion at British airports and was in line with security concerns.
Why was President Duda on a government plane
These recommendations did not apply to the most important politicians in the world, such as US President Joe Biden (80). President Andrzej Duda was also among those who were allowed to use their own government vehicles. As explained in the President, everything was previously agreed with the British government.
