Before Ukrainian psychiatrist Yevhen Skrypnyk many patients with fluctuating blood pressure are treated and they are prescribed antihypertensive drugs and are diagnosed with hypertension. They take medication, but still the pressure rises periodically, every three or four days, and continues to take medication. Why the pressure rises and what to do, the doctor told on his page on the social network.
“Most patients make the mistake of taking antihypertensive drugs irregularly. They take them when the pressure increases. For example, today the pressure is 160/100, you are taking anti-pressure medication, it decreases, it becomes normal, you measure it for two days - everything is fine. Then on the third day it rises again and you take the medicine again. And so on in a circle. I advise you to regularly take medicines against pressure, even if it is 120/80. Antihypertensive drugs do not reduce normal blood pressure, they act so that it does not increase.
If your pressure rises periodically or regularly, then the response vessels spasm, the psychiatrist adds. As a result, hypoxia occurs and this leads to atherosclerosis and even greater vasoconstriction. That is, it leads to a regular high blood pressure.
Previously known dermatologist Ekaterina Bakiko explained why the skin of the face periodically turns red and lights up.
