One of the biggest threats in the galaxy is about to return and Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson) will need all the help she can get to stop him. After voicing the ferocious Grand Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels, Lars Mikkelsen will return as a villain Ahsokaforthcoming mandalorian spin off. Dave Filoniwho is the showrunner for the show about the adventures of Dean Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grog, was one of the founders rebels, making him an expert on the character’s history. During an interview with the editor-in-chief of Collider Stephen Weintraub V star Wars Celebration Europe, Mikkelsen had nothing but praise for Filoni’s script for the upcoming show, and seems to have missed an interesting nugget about the series:
“His script is very good. He is very strong. And all the characters have their own drive and you probably won’t know what it’s all about until the very last scene, which I love. I love this script, which is so captivating for the audience. seriously, so you can see for yourselves that we’re dragging this straight towards disclosure. What was it all about?
What does it mean that we won’t know what it’s all about until the very last scene? During the events of Star Wars RebelsThrawn had no regrets in pursuing the main team of the show. In his cunning plans, prudent efforts and deep knowledge of his enemies, the Grand Admiral was always one step ahead of the brave heroes. Since most of the main characters of the animated series were played with live counterparts for AhsokaFiloni appears to be actively developing a sequel to the project that ended in 2018.
The big mystery surrounding Grand Admiral Thrawn’s return is where he’s been all this time.
