Ukraine plans to raise tariffs for centralized water supply and sewerage - the National Commission for State Regulation in the Energy and Public Utilities (NKREKU) will consider this issue in March.
“Currently, the possibility of establishing these tariffs in two stages is being worked out: from 04/01/2023 and from 07/01/2023, taking into account the approaches specified in the supporting materials. In particular, draft tariffs for centralized water supply and centralized sewerage have been carefully checked, and their change meets the requirements of the current legislation. In order to contain the financial burden on consumers, and at the same time to provide them with centralized water supply and centralized sanitation services of adequate quality, the Regulator minimized costs in the tariff structure”- such a message is posted on the regulator’s website.
The discussion materials contain a table with proposals for new tariffs.
Recall that scenarios for increasing electricity tariffs are also being discussed.
