We owe its appearance to Korean-style carrots, the recipe of which was later adapted for cooking beets. Choose sweet and bright beets right away, but the amount of pepper and garlic can be selected to taste, based on how spicy you like dishes, explains chef Svetlana Yurchenko.
Ingredients:
2 red beets (larger than medium)
4-5 cloves of garlic
50-75 ml sunflower oil
3 art. l. vinegar 9%
3 art. l. Sahara
salt - to taste
10 walnuts
0.5 tsp chili pepper
ground black pepper on the tip of a knife
Spice mix:
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp black allspice
1 tsp carnations
2 tsp coriander
Cooking
We rub the beets on the “Korean grater”, add chopped garlic, ground nuts, 1 tsp. seasoning mixtures, salt, sugar, vinegar, vegetable oil, 0.5 tsp. chili peppers and ground black pepper. Mix everything well with your hands and leave for 3-5 hours in a cool place.
