At some point they were stopped by armed men on motorcycles. A recording has appeared online that clearly shows that the car of the parents of the Liverpool football player is being watched by one of the motorcycle criminals. From a report published in Revista Semana, we learn that at some point the kidnappers entered the car of Luis Diaz’s relatives and abducted them.

Local security services, including the police and army, quickly joined the search. Shortly after this, the police director, General William Salamanca, managed to talk to the mother of the football player released by the criminals. “She is terrified, but she is healthy and no harm was done to her,” said a source close to the Liverpool player, as quoted by the previously mentioned website.

Unfortunately, it is currently unknown what is happening to the Reds striker’s father. The search is still ongoing. All that was confirmed was that the kidnappers abandoned the car they were traveling in and got back on motorcycles.
