The leader of the overall World Cup standings realizes that he is not showing the best form. In the individual standings on the normal hill, where Petr Zyla became world champion, Halvor Egner Granerud took only 11th place. In training on a large springboard, the Norwegian did much better, and he managed to win one of them. The qualification was again not the best for him, and he finished ninth.
“It can be seen that I am in good shape, I feel good, but I would like to fly much further. This is one of the worst days on the hill in terms of performance all winter. So this is not a day that inspires confidence,” the winner of the 4-Hills-Tournament told the Verdens Gang newspaper.
