Ski jumpers begin preparations for the next World Cup competition. This time, the aviators will be taken by a hill in the American Lake Placid, where six Polish athletes went. The organizers of the competition decided that the jumps would start earlier than originally announced.

Thomas Turnbichler and company have already crossed the Atlantic where they will compete for more World Cup points. The upcoming American competition will be a great opportunity for David Kubacki to equal the leader of the general classification Halvor Egner Granerud. The Norwegian is in great form, so the Pole will have to rise to the top of his own abilities to defeat him.

Jumping in Lake Placid one day longer

According to the original plans of the organizers of the competition on Olympic Hill in Lake Placid, the first training sessions were to take place on Friday evening Polish time. Meanwhile, the plans have changed and the jumpers will take part in the training series today, i.е. Thursday, February 9 at 15:00 Polish time.

Aviators will try to prepare for the upcoming competition three times. The rest of the plans remain unchanged. On Friday there will be two training sessions and qualifications for the individual and mixed classification, which will take place on Saturday. Qualifying will also take place on Sunday, followed by the main event.
