The current Rising Stars Challenge is not one, but three matches of the best young basketball players. From a group of 21 (10 rookies and 11 sophomores), three former NBA players Poe Gasol, Deron Williams and Joaquim Noah recruited basketball players for their teams.
The Spaniard was the first pick of Paolo Banchero from the Orlando Magic, the first pick in the last draft. Williams was seduced by Franz Wagner (also from the same club), and the Frenchman bet on Evan Mobley. The former New York Knicks and Chicago Bulls center, winner of the 2014 Defensive Player of the Year award, selected Sochan first in the fourth round of the ceremony.
In addition to teams of three former stars, Jason Terry’s seven-player G League team, the backbone of the NBA, will also be participating. Semi-final matches (played on the night of Friday to Saturday, February 17) will be played until the first team reaches 40 points. In turn, the one who scores “25” points first will win the final.
