Polish jumpers have started preparations for the weekend jumps in Lake Placid. David Kubacki boasted on social networks what training Thomas Turnbichler had prepared for him. The World Cup winner had to prove himself!

The Polish jumpers are not in the best shape, which was clearly seen during the weekend in Willingen. Thomas Turnbichler had to make lineup changes for the Lake Placid trip and decided not to take Kamil Stoch and Jakub Wolna. Tomasz Pilch and Jan Habdas jumped in instead. According to Apoloniusz Tainer, this is a thoughtful and good move by the Austrian coach. In the meantime, our football players are preparing for the American competition in a rather unusual way.

Thomas Turnbichler organized an unexpected training for David Kubacki

David Kubacki finished third in Saturday’s event in Willingen, but a day later he finished in 14th place, which is not very pleasant. The smoothest jumper of all Poles was Piotr Zyla, who was fourth twice. The Polish jumpers are not sitting idly by and have already started preparing for the next competition, but the Austrian coach has applied quite unexpected methods.

The World Cup overall runner-up shared a post on InstaStories where you can see him climbing up 26 vertical… beer crates! To one of the entries, the jumper added the hashtag #stabilitytraining, which means that the coach organized stability training for him. Previously, the Pole probably climbed the mountain at a nearby climbing wall.
