For some time now, every year athletes and other famous people support the Big Orchestra of Christmas Charity, and this year it is the same. Iga Świątek decided to make a unique gesture before the 31st anniversary finale of the Grand Christmas Charity Orchestra.
The Big Orchestra of Christmas Charity Final is a one-day public gathering organized by the Big Orchestra of Christmas Charitable Foundation. The event has been accompanied by online campaigns and private events for many years, starting in early December.
The action is backed by various stars, celebrities and athletes who donate some of their items to the auction to help raise larger donations towards the foundation’s goals. The 31st Anniversary Grand Final of the Christmas Charity Grand Orchestra will be played under the slogan: “Living Healthy in a Healthy World”. We want to defeat sepsis - we will play for everyone, from young to old.

Iga Świątek has joined the Grand Christmas Charity Orchestra by auctioning unique items. “The pre-Christmas good deeds continue… After this busy season, I have prepared something special for the Grand Christmas Charity Orchestra auction,” Iga Swiatek wrote on Twitter.

Iga Sviontek donated her racquet, which won two Grand Slams - Roland Garros and the US Open in 2022 - to the auction. In addition, the world No. 1 handed out a double invitation to the first round match of the French Open in Paris in May/June 2023.
The invitation includes very good seats in the stands for the players, as well as access to the VIP area. “A double invitation will allow you to watch live all the matches that will take place on the courts of Roland Garros on that day, including the Iga match,” the auction description reads.
As if that weren’t enough, after her match, the tennis player will meet the winner of the auction for a brief meeting on the sidelines of the tournament. The deadline for completing the auction item is December 31, 2023, and at the time of this writing, the current price is PLN 40,299.
