Derek Chisora was hoping to beat Tyson Fury in his third fight. The “King of the Gypsies”, who announced his retirement in April and abandoned this decision in August, confidently defeated his opponent by technical knockout in the 10th round.
Tyson Fury meets Derek Chisora for the third time. The duel started the “War” more actively, which from the very beginning of the fight put pressure on the “Gypsy King”. Only in the middle of the first round, Fury responded with several strong combinations. Then Chisora did not attack so hard and Fury controlled the pace until the end of the fight.
At the beginning of the second round, “War” again went first, but this time “Gypsy King” worked faster. Fury mostly wounded his opponent with uppercuts that Chisora tried to neutralize. Half a minute before the end of the round, the “Gypsy King” hit the opponent on the right, and then tried to finish off the cornered opponent.
Tyson Fury - Derek Chisora III
In the third round, Fury was not going to wait any longer and imposed his pace from the very beginning. Less than a minute later, Chisora again had to fight for survival after being cornered. In the middle of the round, the “Gypsy King” drove the opponent under the ropes. Fury also tried body punches. The pace of the fight was very strong.
The start of the fourth round was a little more even, but Fury seemed to be in control of the match. “King of the Gypsies” showed his superiority in the round with a hard blow right before the gong.
Early in the fifth round, Chisora managed to briefly corner Fury, but after a while, “Gypsy King” retaliated. “War”, however, did not let go and even drove Fury under the ropes. In the middle of the round, “Gypsy King” showed a double left and a clean right uppercut. Fury then cornered Chisora twice again.
Boxing show performed by “Gypsy King”
In the sixth round, Fury moved to the opponent from the very beginning. Less than a minute after the gong, Chisora answered the “Gypsy King” with several strong blows. With 60 seconds left in the round, Fury showed a combination. At the beginning of the seventh round of “War”, he attacked the “Gypsy King” and attacked even when he was pursued under the ropes. Chisora landed a series of body shots that sent the opponent under the ropes. However, the end of the round belonged to Fury.
In the eighth round of “War” he wanted to continue the good impression from the previous one. In the middle of the round, the boxers exchanged blows with the right. Despite the Gypsy King’s attacks, Chisora continued to fight back. At 60 seconds, Fury once again cornered the opponent and landed a right uppercut. After the right “King of the Gypsies” at the end of the round, “War” seemed very sluggish.
The war was ambitious, but it wasn’t enough
In the ninth round, Chisora attacked again early in the round. In the middle of the round, Fury hit the opponent in the corner, then under the ropes and again in the corner. With one minute left in the round, Fury landed a right hand. After the round, it became obvious that the right eye “War” sees little.
Chisora before the 10th round was obviously hard to get up immediately after the gong. The “war” traditionally began ambitiously and a minute later even tried to drive the “Gypsy King” under the ropes. At 90 seconds, Fury landed a left hook to the liver. Chisora responded with a right hook with one minute left in the round. 10 seconds before the end of the round, the referee stopped the fight.
