The son of 58-year-old Lukasz Lonka died in 2019 after a serious accident during a competition near Lubartow (Lublin Voivodeship). The participant fell from a raid jump. The athlete was resuscitated on the spot and then hospitalized. For several days he fought for his life, but three days later the relatives had to come to terms with the death of the young athlete. Like Lukasz, his father also achieved great success. The 58-year-old athlete was a graduate of Motoklub Federated Września, and later became a competitor of ia Unii Poznań, Automobilklub Głogów and Budowlanych Gdańsk.
“The late Jacek Lonka was a multiple champion of Poland in the individual and club classification among seniors and a multiple champion of the country in the masters category. We express our condolences to the family and relatives of Mr. Jacek,” we read on the wrzesnia.info portal.
