In a speech delivered entirely in Polish, against the background of the flags of Poland and Ukraine, Zelensky addressed the Poles as “dear friends, allies and brothers” and emphasized that “it is an honor for me to address the Poles in this way.”
- Our peoples have come a long way and finally reached the greatest agreement in history on the main issue for Ukrainians and Poles. It’s a matter of freedom. Only together can we protect the independence of our countries for future generations. And we are together as allies, friends and brothers. We fight together,” Zelensky said.
“Let’s celebrate victory together”
The President noted that Ukrainians and Poles are fighting together and will definitely celebrate “our and your victory in the battle for freedom and our common European future.”
Thanks for the historical support. I cordially congratulate you on the holiday of the Polish Army and from the bottom of my heart I wish you one thing: a speedy victory. Glory to Poland! Glory to Ukraine! Zelensky finished.
