My four-year-old son saw it all with me, and since then he has had nightmares, the woman said in an interview with The Mirror.
A rat bit the face of a 2-year-old child until it bled. The boy was taken to the hospital, where he was immediately injected with drugs against infectious diseases transmitted by rodents. The baby is on the mend and, according to doctors, plastic surgery is not needed.
The family was forced to leave the area and are now looking for new housing.
We just can’t go back there. We heard other rats running after the attack, we can’t live there. Something needs to be done because I really don’t want this to happen to another family,” said the mother of a 2-year-old child.
The woman told local MP Dan Cardin about the horrifying incident. The politician said it was one of the most horrific things he had heard during his tenure.
