“When we did Homecoming, there was always a discussion of how we were doing something with Peter Parker that you hadn’t seen before… his personality and his aunt found out, and then at the end of the last movie, the whole world found out. essence, the simple story of Spider-Man. We really all took our time telling the first issue of Spider-Man - this origin story.”

Head of Visual at Marvel Studios Ryan Minerding also expressed his excitement about the final showing of Peter’s new costume that the character is going to wear in future releases of the MCU, with the artist noting that the overall costume design was partially influenced by previous costumes Peter has worn. “It’s a classic red and blue spider suit that feels more grown-up - a little bit influenced by the spiders he’s seen on Toby.
