Ahead of the North American release, we are inviting readers to get involved for a chance to attend a preview of the film. Resident Evil: Death Island follows the Prime continuity set in 2015 between Capcom Resident Evil 6 And Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. After the events of Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017) Death Island finds Jill Valentine (voiced by Nicole Tompkins) from the original game have reunited and are working alongside Chris Redfield (Kevin Dorman) to deal with a fresh outbreak in San Francisco caused by a mysterious new T-virus. Meanwhile, Claire RedfieldStephanie Panicello) is on a mission with TerraSave to respond to a killer whale attack where traces of the T-virus are found, and separately Leon Kennedy (Matthew Mercer) is tasked by the DSO to find a kidnapped scientist with important information. When BSAA Agent Rebecca Chambers (Erin Cahill) discovers that all the murders in San Francisco are linked to Alcatraz, Chris and Jill head to an isolated island where their investigation converges with Leon and Claire, bringing the main characters together in the same movie for the first time.
For Los Angeles fans, this early screening will take place at a dedicated venue on Wednesday, July 12 at 7:30 pm. Who is involved in Resident Evil: Island of Death?
Death Island Director Hasumi returns after working on a Netflix miniseries. Resident Evil: Endless Darkness (2021), with Vendetta screenwriter Fukami for directly continuing Leon’s latest run-in with the aftermath of the nefarious Umbrella Corporation in Raccoon City. As with the previous three feature-length computer-generated films and the miniseries, video game company Capcom was involved in the development Death Island to maintain character consistency and continuity, which distinguishes an animated franchise from a live-action horror saga featuring Milla Jovovich. This fifth entry marks not only Valentine’s first appearance in an animated series, but also the first time all of these original playable characters will come together in a film adaptation.
