However, fan-favorite heroes return to protect the Earth from a new cosmic threat, the planet-devouring Transformer known as Unicron (voiced by Colman Domingo).

His goal was to use our tiny blue planet as a hideout for the Autobots, where they could regroup before returning to Cybertron to fight the Decepticons. However, although Bumblebee manages to make Earth the base of the Autobots, Rise of the Beasts reveals that the faction has been stuck on our planet for seven years.
Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are joined by Arcee (voiced by Lisa Koshy) and Mirage (voiced by Pete Davidson). Arcee is known for taking on the form of a motorcycle and had a brief cameo in the film’s opening scene. bumblebee, where she fought alongside Optimus Prime in Cybertron. V Michael Bay era transformers Cinematic Universe, Arcee has also appeared in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Mirage favors expensive cars as an alternate uniform. While the Decepticons are nowhere to be seen Rise of the Beats, Optimus Prime and his Autobots will still have to fight for their lives after the Terrorcons arrive on Earth. In the film, the Terrorcons are elite warriors controlled by Unicron, a Transformer so powerful that he is often referred to as a dark god. Unicron needs to devour energon-rich planets to fuel himself. However, since Unicron is larger than a planet, he needs a transformation key to travel and find new targets to feed his hunger. The Transformation Key is an artifact that can create portals in space and time.
Unicron has the power to corrupt the souls of other Transformers, and he uses this power to keep his Terrorcons, brutal warriors who do their dark master’s bidding, on a tight leash. Leads the Terrorcons in search of the Transwarp Key Scourge (voiced by Peter Dinklage) who likes to take trophies from his victims and add them to his armor. Scourge travels to Earth with Nightbird (voiced by MJ Rodriguez) and Battletrap (voiced by David Sobolov). Nightbird looks like a ninja with dual swords, can fly and transforms into a jet. The Battletrap disguises itself as a construction vehicle, using heavy weights to topple its enemies.
Maximals

The last Transformers faction featured in Rise of the Beasts these are the Maximals. These transformers came from a distant planet where there were no vehicles. So they take the form of giant metal animals. When Rise of the Beasts begins, Maximalov is led by Apelink (voiced by David Sobolov), a Maximal based on a gorilla. After the Maximals decide to hide the Transformation Key from Unicron to protect the universe, Apelink stays behind to delay the Scourge while his friends escape through the time-space portal. After the Apelinka sacrifice, the Maximals are led by Optimus Primal (voiced by Ron Perlman), another transformer that looks like a gorilla.
Upon reaching Earth, the Maximals split the Transwarp Key in two, hiding each half in a different corner of the planet. Half of the Transwarp Key is delivered to Sudan by Airazor (voiced by Michelle Yeoh), a maximum resembling a giant eagle. The other half remains with Optimus Primal, who takes it with him to Peru. These events took place at least five thousand years before Rise of the Beasts. But by the time the Autobots get to Peru, we learn that Optimus Prime lives in the jungle with two other Maxims, Cheetor (voiced by Tongayi Chirisa) and Rhinox (voiced by David Sobolov). As their names suggest, Cheetor takes the form of a cheetah and Rhinox takes the form of a rhinoceros.
In original transformers According to mythology, the Maximals are distant descendants of the Autobots. Maximals appeared after the Great War, which ended the conflict between the Autobots and the Decepticons. They resemble animals because their bodies have evolved to the point where they mimic organic matter. Rise of the Beasts doesn’t explain the origin of the cinematic version of the Maximals, but the film teases that they traveled through time to escape Unicron. First, we know that the Transwarp Key allows you to travel through space and time. Airazor then tells the Autobots that the Maximals are their past and future. Finally, Optimus Primal was named after Optimus Prime. Maximals will undoubtedly return in the sequel. Rise of the Beasts. Hopefully this upcoming movie explores the faction’s origins better.
