The new TV trailer for the upcoming film features all the action in the air, desert and underwater. The short clip shows Cruz engaging in hand-to-hand combat and on the move, and gives us a feel for the thrill with the extended look of the actor narrowly escaping a tunnel on a fast train. Cruz has been known to pull off his own stunts and judging by the clip, he will leave no stone unturned to kick off the end of the road for his fan-favorite character in the most exciting ways.

The seventh installment of the franchise is the beginning of the end of Ethan Hunt’s long journey. The film will be the first installment in the franchise’s planned two-episode finale and will see the return of many familiar faces. In the upcoming feature film, Hunt will hunt down a terrible new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. As ghosts from his past approach, he embarks on a death race across the world.
As the trailers previously teased, Ethan will be forced to think about this mission, not the lives of those he loves. The upcoming feature will also pave the way and raise the stakes for the next iteration. Bye Dead Reckoning Part One is on the verge of release, it was recently reported that Part two was halted due to the ongoing Writers Guild of America strike. It’s unclear at this point if this will affect the film’s release next year.
