Gagarin. First in space biographical drama featuring Yaroslav Zhalnin How Yuri Gagarin, the first person to walk in outer space. It chronicles Gagarin’s life from his childhood in rural Russia to cosmonaut training and his historic flight aboard the Vostok spacecraft on April 12, 1961.

It is interesting to offer a Soviet perspective on the space race, although it has also been criticized for being biased and ignorant of Gagarin’s life after the pioneering flight. However, Zhalnin’s solid work holds the project together.

William Hurt plays Feynman masterfully, capturing his genius and frustration. The film draws heavily on Feynman’s own writing, creating a poignant portrayal of a darker chapter in space exploration.

This historical drama tells the real story of astronauts. Alexey Leonov (Evgeny Mironov) And Pavel Belyaev (Konstantin Khabensky), who made history in 1965 with the first ever spacewalk. It looks like Apollo 13considering both the technical side of the mission and the political dimension of the Cold War.

The special effects can’t compete with Hollywood blockbusters, but the story itself is tense and captivating. Astronauts face several agonizing challenges, such as ship malfunctions and problems with oxygen tanks. Mironov and Khabensky skillfully convey the tension and tension of a deadly situation.

Damien Chazelle did something like a left turn after Whip And La La Land direct First manA Neil Armstrong biopic Ryan Gosling. It chronicles Armstrong’s journey from test pilot to the first man to walk on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission. It stands out for focusing on Armstrong’s personal issues more than the technical side of the mission, including the loss of fellow astronauts and the pressures of public scrutiny.

Gosling is great in this role, turning the image of this American hero with errors and nuances. However, the real highlight can be Claire Foy as Armstrong’s wife, Janet Armstrongwho takes upon herself the burden of her husband’s absence and the possibility that he may not return from his mission.

Tom Hanks, Kevin BaconAnd Bill Paxton play three astronauts in the middle of an ill-fated mission.

The film captures the intense and emotional moments of the mission and the heroic efforts made by the astronauts and the mission control team to bring them back to Earth safely. The special effects were impressive for their time, creating a believable, chilling vision of a mission in crisis.

4 “Right Stuff” (1983)

Based Tom Wolfeeponymous book, The right thing dramatizes the early years of the US space program, especially the Mercury Seven astronauts, who were the first Americans sent into space. Cast led by Sam Shepard, Scott GlennAnd Ed Harris, all perfect and believable. Their speeches are more than relevant today.

The film shows the courage of these people as they push the boundaries of technology and risk their lives to advance scientific knowledge. Roger Ebert was a big fan of it. He called it an “experimental epic” and placed it alongside classics such as Godfather And Apocalypse has come.

October sky based on true story Homer Hickama miner’s son, inspired by the launch of Sputnik 1 and intent on building his own rockets, despite his father’s opposition and the skepticism of his small West Virginia town.

It was a breakthrough role for the star. Jake Gyllenhaal. Chris Cooper also gives the impression of Homer’s father, who initially rejects his son’s dreams. Laura Dern the cast ends with the role of Homer’s sympathetic teacher, recognizing his potential. The result is a touching story of perseverance.

Hidden Figures tells of three African American women who played a key role in the early years of NASA’s space program in the 1960s: Katherine G. Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer), And Mary Jackson (Janelle Monae).

They were space agency mathematicians who identified serious flaws in some systems and ended up doing better than the computers that came after them. The film is a combination of killer acting, superb cinematography and brilliant music. Hans Zimmer.

It is an impressive portrait of the courage, skill, and determination of the astronauts and NASA personnel who made the Apollo program possible. The only ones worth seeing are footage taken by the astronauts themselves, which has been archived by NASA and not shown to the public. For all mankind remains a wonderful reminder of what can be achieved when people come together to achieve a common goal.
